  • Bolivia Missions Fundraising Report

The Bolivia Mission’s team would like to extend a huge thank you to all who came out to support the spaghetti dinner fundraiser and silent auction last Sunday. We raised about $1600 toward the mission to Bolivia because of your generosity, vision and partnership. We are so grateful for your support.

  • Lunch With the Bolivia Missions Team

You may be aware that 16 people from KingsWay will be traveling to Bolivia in mid-August as a short-term missions team to serve our sister churches there.  To help defray the cost of the trip, we’ll be hosting a spaghetti lunch and silent auction following the meeting next Sunday, June 22.  Lunch begins at noon in the foyer.  Tickets can be purchased for $7 per person or $20 per family this Sunday or next.  We will also be receiving items to donate to the silent auction this ...

  • Going with the Gospel: Gideons International

I love to hear stories from our members of how God is using them to love their neighbors, whether they live next door or halfway around the world. Here's a testimony Robert Campbell recently sent me describing an opportunity he had to take the gospel to Panama on a missions trip with Gideons International.  In June of last year, I had the opportunity to work with the Gideons in Panama in passing out New Testaments.  This ministry provides and distributes Bibles and New Testaments ...

  • Operation Christmas Child

Have you ever noticed that the material in the Bible is not organized into age brackets? On one level, it would be really convenient. A book for 15 year olds.

  • Pray for Somalia

God’s plans and purposes in this world are bigger than us.  His glory is too great for his praise to be confined to suburban America. God’s will and intent is that the praise of his name would be sung in every land, in every language, by every people and every nation. “May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations.

  • Bolivia Missions Trip

Why are you alive?  If you're a Christian, Jesus has already answered that question for you. "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20) Over the last few years, we've sought to fulfill our God-given mission through our partnership with churches and Christian ministries in Bolivia. We're excited to announce that God has provided an opport...

  • Pray for Malaysia

"Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!" (Psalm 67:3) On the last Sunday of every month, we set aside time to pray for the ministry of the gospel around the world. Last Sunday, Josh led us in praying for Malaysia, which has been in the news recently since the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.  Here's a short video that will help you know how to pray for Malaysia this month. If you're not able to view the video, click here.

  • 2014 Missions Fund

We have an opportunity to make a financial contribution this Sunday to the 2014 Sovereign Grace Mission Fund. For many years, the missions fund has enabled us to partner with other congregations who share our denominational commitment to planting and building local churches around the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Here are three reasons why my family will be investing in the mission fund this year. 1) We believe God is transforming us into a church that’s actively involved in inte...

  • Pray for the Bishops

Brad and Tammy Bishop, two of our church members, arrived safely in La Paz, Bolivia last Friday. God has given them a growing desire to support the ministry of Suti Sana in the red light district of El Alto. Suti Sana provides an economic alternative for women desiring to leave the brothels in the form of training and employment as seamstresses.

  • Pray for Afghanistan

"So how is your church involved in missions?" For many years, I never liked answering that question. Nearly every time it came up I was immediately attacked by a sense of guilt. My answer usually went something like this: "Here's what we're doing, but I know we should be doing more." Cue the condemnation.

  • Bolivia Ministry Update

Tammy Bishop is tentatively planning a return trip to Suti Sana, in El Alto, Bolivia in February and would welcome your support in prayer and finances.  This trip would be to support the production of an envelope iPad case and/or a handbag. This was one of her designs they decided on from the last trip.

  • Philippines Relief Effort

There are many blessings to being part of the Sovereign Grace family of churches. One of them is the opportunity to partner with like-minded congregations in doing gospel ministry around the world. We recently received the following update from Mark Prater, our Executive Director, explaining how we can support the disaster relief effort in the Philippines.

  • Dispatches From the Front

Last Sunday, Josh Kruger introduced a documentary series we're showing on Sunday mornings for the next five weeks. It's called Dispatches from the Front and is produced by Frontline Missions. Each video takes a close look at how the gospel is gaining ground in some of the most hard-to-reach places on earth.

  • Update from Bolivia

To our dear KingsWay family, We cannot thank you enough for all of your love and prayers for us as we are in Bolivia! We have seen God at work in many ways!  We had the joy of honoring the pastor's wives at a tea on Sunday night. These women live very hard lives and were overwhelmed by the food we brought them, the gifts we gave and the encouragement we brought.
