The Whitman Community Group has a wonderful mix of families, adults and teens. They meet in Midlothian. Childcare is provided.

Steve and Donna have been
married since 1980. They have two daughters; a teenager and another one married with a little toddler. Steve works at the Virginia Department of Social Services. When asked what the best part of their group was, Steve responded: “Our group has the best snacks!”

The Cole community group is made up of couples from their 20’s to 50’s. The group has families who are in just about every season of life. This group is diverse in backgrounds but united through their fellowship in the Gospel.

Scott & Heather met while they were both serving in the Air Force stationed in Louisiana. They have been married for 10 years. Scott & Heather moved from the Chesapeake Sovereign Grace Church at the end of 2006 to be closer to family.

The Emerson Community Group has single people of various ages and seasons of life.

Tim and Gail both grew up in the Richmond area. They met at KingsWay and have been married since 2005. Tim works at Capital One as an analyst. Gail is a stay-at-home mom to their two beautiful young daughters.

The Robertson Community Group consists of young families and families with participating teens. 

John & September have 4 children and enjoy fellowship, worship music, 70’s music and light jazz.  John is a VCU Graduate and Claims Adjuster with Encompass Insurance.

The Sturgeon Community Group meets 4 times per month in various formats:  Two group meetings per month as well as men’s and women’s meetings, fellowship dinners, couples meetings, and family focused fun events.  Adults and children gather in the same home with childcare provided during group meetings.

Married in Michigan in 1989, Tom and Allison have lived in Richmond since 1993 and have been members of KingsWay since 1996.  Tom works as Executive VP of IPW Inc.  The Sturgeons have three children, Eliza, Emma and Luke.

The Rogness have a family style group with rotating child care at the meeting location. They also welcome singles, married couples, teens etc.

Rich and Anna met at Virginia Tech and were married in 1991. They have 4 children. Rich works as an Information Systems Team Leader at the Virginia Retirement System. Anna is a full-time domestic engineer. She enjoys homeschooling their own children and teaching math to other homeschoolers. Rich claims not only to be the principal, but also the class clown.

The Buffington group is a blend of singles, couples, and families.  Whatever your season of life, John and Mindy invite you to join them.

John and Mindy are from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  They moved to Midlothian in 2004 when they were married and have been a part of KingsWay ever since.  John is a project manager with Shelton Corporation.  Mindy teaches 7th grade English at Midlothian Middle School.

Brian and Suzy lead a group for all ages that seeks to grow as a community through fellowship and seeking God.

Brian is a civil engineer, and Suzy is a stay at home Mom.

This community group meets on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM.

The Lewanowicz group welcomes both married and single adults. They also regularly have ladies or men’s meetings. The group often enjoys socials and events that include children.

Walter works as a Nurse Educator in staff development at the VCU Medical Center. Walter grew up in Canada and Bev in Delaware, but they met in California. Married since 1987, they now have three children in middle school, high school and college.

The Roberts Community Group has a mixture of adults and teens. Included in the mixture are Doug and Ann’s children, one of whom attends VCU and two who have recently graduated from there.

Doug and Ann both graduated from the University of Delaware, which is where they met.They have been married since 1981.Doug works as a chemical engineer for Ashland Inc.

The Campbells are very excited to lead a Single’s Community Group and extend a warm welcome to singles of all ages!

Andrew and Sara met in 2001 when Andrew came (as a new believer) simply thinking he would live with his brother, Aaron, for the summer. He met Sara at KingsWay and the rest is history. In 2004 they got married. Andrew works as a contractor and Sara came home from teaching 4TH grade to be a mommy to Nathan. They are excitedly expecting another boy in December.

The Keesee’s lead one of KingsWay’s Single’s groups at their home on a bi-monthly basis.

Alan and Jackie met as childhood neighbors and were married at KingsWay in 2006. Jackie grew up in the church and has attended for 18+ years. Alan was saved in 2004 - thanks to God's work through Jackie - and has been attending a Sovereign Grace church ever since. They live in Walton Park and have a daughter, Payton. The Keesee Care Group is a Tarheel friendly destination.

This group meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 PM.

The Marinelli Community Group is a wonderful blend of couples with younger children, plus a few singles and empty nesters.  They particularly enjoy worshipping the Lord and praying for one another.

Jeff and Kim met in Richmond in 1988 and have been married since 1989.  They have two sons.  Jeff works for a national company as a Director of HR Planning.

This group meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM.

The Brown community group is a wonderfully eclectic group of people in various seasons of life including singles, young families with children, more mature adults and retirees.

Martin and Nita have been married 19 years and enjoy hospitality, ballroom dancing, fellowship around tea (Nita) and history (Martin).  Our real delight and hope is in making Christ known, relevant and personal to those in our fellowship and to those yet to encounter our living Savior and Lord.

The Denison Community Group is composed of singles and a variety of families, some with young children, and some with teens.  The group is focused on growing in Christ and loving and serving one another.
   
Alan and Karen have been at KingsWay since 2000.  They have six children whom they enjoy immensely.  As a family, they love sports, music, art and being part of the Body of Christ at KingsWay.

Sean & Joanne both grew up in Maryland and married in 1993.  They have five children and have been a part of KingsWay since 1995.

Sean is a graduate of Liberty University and works as a field technician for The Seat Doctor.

The Smith Community Group includes a variety of singles, families with children, and empty nesters. Childcare is provided.

Craig and Justine have attended KingsWay for 6 years and want to help people feel connected as part of the KingsWay family. Craig works as a legislative assistant for a Virginia delegate and as a consultant, and Justine is a homeschooling mom. They have two boys and two girls.

This group meets on Tuesdays at 7:15 PM in the Creekwood subdivision.
