Christ in the Psalms
This Sunday we’ll begin a new four-part message series entitled, Christ in the Psalms. The book of Psalms, or Praises, was Israel’s hymnbook, and at least sixteen point to the coming Messiah. This book provides a thrilling study of the Savior. His nature, work, rejection, betrayal, suffering, death, and resurrection are all previewed there. We’ll be considering four of these as we prepare to celebrate His birth:
Psalm 2: The Psalm of the King this Sunday.
Psalm 40: The Psalm of the Incarnation on December 8.
Psalm 22: The Psalm of the Crucifixion on December 15.
Psalm 16: The Psalm of the Resurrection on December 22.
Please consider including these in your devotions in preparation for our Sunday celebrations. May God richly bless you as you prepare your heart to celebrate the King’s birth!
