  • Missions Work in Isaan

Some of the most exciting work God has done in our church over the last few years revolves around international missions. From praying on Sunday morning for gospel ministry in various countries, to going on short-term mission trips, to financial support for full-time missionaries, the Lord has birthed a new passion in our heart to see his saving power made known among all the nations. One of the missionary families we began supporting financially in 2015 hails from the Sovereign Grace chu...

  • 2015 Bolivia Mission Trip

One of the highlights of the past few years has been our growing relationship with a group of churches & ministries in Bolivia.  As we have been privileged to meet & serve these precious people, our hearts have been expanded and our vision for God's purposes lifted in ways that have transformed our lives. Missions trips provide excellent opportunities to expand our spiritual horizons and stretch in faith by ministering in a third world environment.  This summer we will h...

  • Pray for Brad & Tammy

Brad and Tammy Bishop are preparing to head back to Bolivia to volunteer at Suti Sana, a ministry to former prostitutes in El Alto, and Casa de Esperanza, an orphanage in Caranavi. I thank God for their example of loving people with the compassion of Jesus.  Brad and I will be heading back to Bolivia March 11th.

One tree will be decorated with colored thumbprints from Kingsway attendees this Sunday and given to Casa de Esperanza as a gift from our church.

  • Why I’m Taking the Perspectives Class

One of the prayers I’ve been praying for myself and for our church is a growing awareness of and love for the people of the world, especially for hundreds of unreached people groups.  I’m convinced that desire was birthed by the Holy Spirit as He enlarges our hearts for what is most important to Him. That’s why Liz & I decided to register for a 15 week class called Perspectives.  For the past few years I’ve heard about its impact on the lives of people who attend. Each week a diffe...
