Lead Pastor: Matthew Williams

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and received his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Associate Pastor: Chris Deloglos

Since 1985 Chris has served in pastoral ministry in both bi-vocational and vocational roles. He attended seminary at Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. Chris also completed the Sovereign Grace Ministry Pastor’s College. Along with serving for seven years in pastoral ministry at Grace Community Church in Denver, Colorado,  Chris has served as a short- term missionary in South America, as a director of Christian education, and is currently the executive director of the Bolivia Missions Foundation. He has been a member of KingsWay since 2009 when he and his family relocated to Richmond and has served as an Associate Pastor since November 2015.

Pastor in Training: Josh Kruger

Josh Kruger has served Kingsway for years as a Community Group Leader, and in 2012 he became a non-vocational Pastor-in-Training. Josh and his wife Karin are natives of South Africa and have three adult children, Josh Jr, Riette, and Jone. Josh and Karin also currently lead our ministry to young adults.

Support Staff

Mercy Ministries & Facility: Craig Smith

Craig wears many hats at KingsWay. Besides serving as one of Community Group Leaders, he also manages our facilities, directs our community partnerships, and provides staff support for Kingsway’s mercy ministries, including the food pantry. Craig has served humbly and heroically in our office since 2009.


Communications Coordinator - Serena Deloglos


Serena joined the office staff team in December of 2015. Originally from Aurora, Colorado, Serena began attending KingsWay when she moved to Midlothian in 2012 - immediately becoming drawn in to the vibrant and diverse community - where she met her husband, Christopher whom she married in August of 2018. She received her undergrad degree in Communications and Journalism and is pursuing graduate work in Counseling and Discipleship. Serena works full-time in the non-profit sector and serves on the board of the Bolivia Missions Foundation.


Event Coordinator - September Robertson

September and her husband John have gone to KingsWay since they relocated to the area from their home town in Northern Virginia in 1989. Over the years, they have been richly blessed as they raised 4 kids while developing deep roots with this church community. September loves spending time with her husband, children and friends. She is happy to help with any needs related to using the facility and is responsible for overseeing events at KWCC.

Finance & Accounting: Allison Sturgeon

Allison and her husband Tom have been a part of the Kingsway family since 1996.  They have raised their 3 kids up in this church and are grateful for the tight knit community that is around them thru this church.  Allison has stepped back into working in the area of finance and bookkeeping in the last two years since their oldest child has entered college,  Before that, she was a stay at home mom and thoroughly enjoyed it. Allison enjoys reading, playing the flute and spending time with her family.
