Sunday Review: March 11, 2018
On Sunday, March 11th, Matthew Williams preached the message “The Origin of Sin" from Genesis 3:1-7 as part of our current series, re:creation. Below are a few discussion questions for Community Group or personal study this week. To listen to the message again, visit our Audio Resources page. To access the projection from the message, click here.
1. Why is there evil in the world? How is it that, together, we have all become corrupt?
2. Matthew taught that evil is personal, God-ward, internal, and volitional. Take a moment to consider what each of these descriptors mean and how they personally apply to sin in your life.
3. How do we resist temptation in the first place? How does understanding the pattern of sin help us to fight sin?
4. How would you say God is calling you to respond specifically to this message? What areas of your life are lacking vigilant trust in God?
