Sunday Review - March 20, 2016
Below is a brief review of our meeting on Sunday, followed by a few discussion questions for Community Group or personal study this week.
Chris led us in a call to worship and we sang Haven't You Been Good, Shine Into Our Night, and Jesus Thank You.
After worship, Matthew led the pastoral prayer and preached the message, "One In Christ" from Ephesians 2:11-18. The message was the next in our current series, United: The Letter for the Ephesians. To listen to the message again, visit our Spanish or English podcast page.
After the message, we had a time of small group prayer and we sang Nothing but the Blood.
Matthew invited all to Easter Weekend and closed our time with a benediction.
1. In the midst of our darkest moments, we can have hope. How is this possible? Can you attest to a time in your life when you experienced the powerful hope of the gospel?
2. How to we achieve true unity with God and others? Are there relationships in your life that are lacking such unity? What role does the reconciling power of the gospel have in these areas?
3. What does it mean to be a gospel people? A spiritual people? An adopted people?
4. How can we practically apply the principles of reconciliation in our daily life with our family, friends, and church?
