Sunday Review - March 30

Here's a quick review of our meeting last Sunday, including discussion questions for Community Groups this week.

We sang Hear O Israel, Come People of the Risen King, and Indescribable

We paused in the middle of singing Sovereign while Matthew read Romans 8:31-39

Chris led us in reciting the 10th question and answer to the Heidelberg Catechism

We welcomed our guests and listened to a testimony from MaryBeth as part of our 25th Anniversary Month to Remember

Josh led us in praying for Malaysia, guided by Operation World

Heather read 1 Peter 3:1-7 and Gene preached a sermon entitled, "Testify at Home"

We shared communion and sang Lord I Need You

Gene gave the benediction

Community Group Discussion Questions

  1. Should husbands and wives have different roles in marriage and if so, why?
  2. Is submission in marriage a sign of inferiority or weakness?
  3. Why is submission so hard?
  4. How does the gospel make submission possible?
