2015 Youth Lock-in
We love creating environments where students can build friendships with other students who are passionate about following Jesus.
That's the motivation behind our 3rd annual Youth Lock-in taking place on June 19-20. It's a combined activity for our Frontline & Impact ministries. Think 24 consecutive hours of playing games, eating food, and laughing at things that are only funny at 2am.
Most of our student ministry events are pretty serious. Students are not junior Christian at Kingsway. We believe that young people thrive when they are challenged to know God and honor him in every area of life. That's why worship, teaching, and small group discussion play a key role in our monthly gatherings and weekly bible studies.
By design, this event is more laid back. We think it creates a perfect opportunity to invite friends from school who have never been exposed to Christian community. There's no need to register in advance, though be sure to bring a few bucks for breakfast Saturday morning since we're going to Chick-fil-a.
The festivities begin at 7pm, Friday evening, and will wrap up by 11am Saturday morning.
