Matthew Williams
Lead Pastor

Matthew grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife Aliza with three rambunctious boys. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and received his Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Chris Deloglos
Pastor

Since 1985 Chris has served in pastoral ministry in both bi-vocational and vocational roles. He attended seminary at Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry and also the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College. Along with serving in pastoral ministry at Grace Community Church in Denver, Colorado, Chris has served as a short-term missionary in South America, as a director of Christian education, and is the executive director of the Bolivia Missions Foundation.

Josh Kruger
Pastor

Josh served KingsWay for years as a community group leader, followed by a young adults leader, and in 2012 he became a non-vocational Pastor in Training. He was ordained in 2022. Josh and his wife Karin are natives of South Africa and have three adult children and five grandchildren.

 

caleb collins pastor

Caleb came to KingsWay by way of Louisville, KY, where he and his family were members of another Sovereign Grace church for many years. When he is not goofing around with his two kids, Caleb and Kristi love having people over for laughs and great conversation. Caleb did his undergraduate work at Columbia International University in Bible Teaching (’14) and received his Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (’17).

quinton cools
Pastor

Quinton joined KingsWay in 2013 when he moved to Richmond from Portland, Oregon. Here, he met and married Kelsey. Together, they share a love for coffee, friendship, and time with their young children and extended family. Quinton holds degrees in business administration and biblical & theological studies. Quinton currently works as a Vice President for TeenPact Leadership Schools and leads the Frontline youth and parent ministry at KingsWay.

Craig smith
staff deacon

Craig wears many hats at KingsWay. He manages our facility, directs our community partnerships, and provides staff support for KingsWay’s mercy ministries, including the food pantry. Craig is married to Justine and together they have 6 kids. He has served humbly and heroically in our office since 2009.

 

john buffington
Deacon

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, John has been attending KingsWay since 2005. He married his high school sweetheart Mindy in 2004 and together they have three boys. John works as an engineer / estimator for C.D. Hall Construction.

antonio martinez
deacon

Antonio has attended KingsWay since 2015, having previously attended the Spanish New Life Providence Church in Virginia Beach for seventeen years. He has been married to Maria for over twenty years and has two children. Antonio works as a commercial foreman at a local roofing company.

karin kruger
King’sKids

Karin was born in South Africa and relocated with her family to Richmond in 2001. She has been married to Josh for over thirty years and they have three children. She loves being a grandparent to five grandchildren. Karin has completed a three-year Biblical Counseling program at CCTC (Christian Counseling Training Center). She loves KingsWay and thanks God often for the joy of serving here as a member.

Sara began attending KingsWay when she moved from Maryland to Midlothian in 1997. Sara is happily married to her husband, Andrew, and now has the privilege to stay at home with her three boys. Before kids, Sara taught in Chesterfield County elementary schools for ten years and still has a love to teach and laugh with children. It is her joy to be a part of sharing the life-giving, life-changing Gospel with the children of King'sKids.

Lauren davis
communications & church life project manager

Lauren grew up in Maryland, but Virginia has been her home since 2000 when she moved here to attend the University of Richmond. Lauren has used her love of Spanish and connecting cross-culturally in international nonprofit work. She and her husband, Jeff, and their three children enjoy exploring Richmond, biking the Capital Trail, and using their home to welcome friends and family.
