Sunday Review: 7/24/2022

On Sunday, July 24, 2022, Mickey Connolly preached the message “The Minimum Daily Requirements for Evangelism”. To listen to this message again, click here. Please see below for discussion questions for this past Sunday’s message.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

  1. Mickey discussed six “minimum daily requirements” for evangelism. The first was to be conscious that you are on a mission. What does that mean, and when you evaluate your life, how “mission conscious” are you?

  2. Do you regularly pray for family, friends, and neighbors who are not Christians, and for opportunities to share the gospel with them? Who is one person you often pray for? Why is praying for them essential?

  3. Many people find it hard to talk to coworkers, classmates, and neighbors about Jesus. Why is that? Do you find it easy or hard? What has helped you, even in some small way, to share Christ with some of those people?

  4. 1 Peter 3:15 says, “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you”. What IS the reason for “the hope that is in you”? Talk about a time when God used you to “make a defense for the hope that is in you” by sharing the gospel with someone.

  5. If a non-Christian friend approaches you today with the simple question of “How can I become a Christian?”, what will your answer be?
